Is there a minimum rental period?
Yes, there is a 4 week minimum retail period.
Can I use my own lock?
For security reasons only high performance security locks provided by Glinton Self Store can be used on our self-storage containers.
When can I access my self-storage container?
Access to your self-storage container is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week via a secure phone entry system. Our self-storage facility is secured with full CCTV monitoring.
What can I store in my self-storage container?
Almost anything. You can store almost anything in your self-storage container as long as it’s not perishable, flammable or illegal!
You cannot store:
Gas
Any flammable items
Fireworks
Perishable foods or materials
Dangerous chemicals
Goods of an illegal nature
Live animals
Or live in it
What are the Self-storage Container Dimensions?
UNIT SIZE: 20 FT

New Customers - Do I need insurance?
This is not a requirement like a lot of other storage facilities demand, but it is advised.
New Customers - How can I rent a self-storage container?
We do not allow customers to rent a self-storage container without proof of address. New customers need to provide:
a. Ideally a new style driving licence and a utility bill
or (if you don’t have a driving license):
b. A valid passport and a recent utility bill (within the last month)
New Customers - Do I need a deposit?
Yes, in order to start using your self-storage container, we require a key deposit of £50 and 4 weeks rent upfront (from £30.00 per week).
New Customers - Do I need to sign a contract?
Yes, you will need to sign a contract along with proving your proof of address.
